Assess
Assess medical history of autoimmune disorders, decreased rbc's. Pale, weak, fatigue.

Diagnosis
- Fatigue related to disease process
- Activity intolerance related to decreased oxygen supply to body tissues
- Anxiety related to knowledge deficit of disease process and treatment
Goals
- The client will be able to state symptoms that may indicate acute bleeding.
- The client will be able to identify medication regimen with side effects and rationale for each medication.
Interventions
- Monitor vitals, pulse oximetry.
- Assess heart and lungs frequently for any dysrhythmias or adventitious sounds.
- Administer medications as ordered.
- Prepare client for any procedures, as indicated, including plasma exchange therapy or Spelenectomy.
- Encourage client to verbalize feelings regarding disease process.
- Monitor for signs/ symptoms of complications.
